Fabulous Finds Friday with a Cutie Patootie

Meet the ever oh so sweet Desiree:)
She is such a doll! She's as sweet as she looks too!
Her mom Rebecca was kind enough to share some tips for getting an EXTRA great deal on a Fabulous Find.

Rebecca found these items already on clearance at Goody's. One was $6 and the other was marked $4. Even at that price they are a great deal. But, Rebecca knew she could do better.
She noticed that the white outfit had a smudge on the side and that on the yellow outfit part of the hem was coming out.

Since the outfits had a couple of small imperfections she asked a sales associate and she was able to get an extra 10% off the already LOW Clearance Price!
Also they said that if the smudge wouldn't come out she could bring the outfit back.
Rebecca wasn't worried. She knew that a toddler in white would end up with some sort of smudge after the first wear anyway. Fixing a hem is easy peasy too.
It really pays to ask an associate and point out small flaws in the clothes!

After all of the discounts she was able to buy the white and pink outfit with the baby crocs for $5.40 and the sweet yellow outfit modeled by Desiree for $3.60.

So, for about $10 she got 2 ADORABLE outfits and a cute pair of shoes!!
Way to go Rebecca! She bought the outfits a little big so that Desiree can grow into them. It's always an EXCELLENT idea to buy clothes on CLEARANCE at the end of the season and save them for the next year.

I also LOVE, LOVE, using clothes for more than 1 season! It's great to add a sweater and some boots to move into fall. Also when the capris get a little too small I like to let my girls wear them as shorts so they can use them for 2 seasons:)
