Rock the Boot Sock

Do you really like the look of the boot sock or leg warmers above the boot? Well last year I TOTALLY LOVED IT!! You couldn't find a boot sock or leg warmer anywhere near here!! So what's a girl to do? I scanned W-Mart for a way to make my own. You can find leg warmers and boot socks this year. (I've already bought a couple of pairs;) If you want to Rock the Boot Sock at a price anyone can afford then this tutorial is for you. It takes all of about..2 seconds.

At W-Mart I found 2-3 pair packs of these great thick gray socks. Where did I find them you ask? Duh...In the men's dept of course!! It's where they hide all of the good stuff. So I paid $2 or $3 and bought a pack. Took them home and tried them on and they weren't tall enough to be seen over the top of my boot. Now what? Well, Cut the toes off of course!

Ya..it probably took less than 2 seconds. Now what about keeping my foot warm. Where there's a will, there's a way!

I wore a regular sock and pulled my new boot sock/leg warmer over the top of the sock and my jegging. Voila!! My very own version!! I got like 3 sets for about $1 a piece! Yay for fabulous and inexpensive DIY solutions!! Boot Socks are all the rage this fall!!! Boot socks are about $8 a pair and leg warmers are about $15. Make your own pair!! So what are you waiting for? Go Rock the Boot Sock!

If you want a fuller or more slouchy look you can also cut the arms off of an old sweater and fold the top over and ta-da!! Boot Sock /Leg Warmer. You will be the envy of all your fashion friends! So check your couch cushions and throw your change together and go get those SOCKS!!
Stay Fashionable!! Love, Candy

PS. These look AMAZING with tights and a skirt!!
