Fabulous Finds Friday

Happy Friday Friends,
This is the budget friendly fabulous finds outfit I wore yesterday. The beautiful cream, white, and gray sweater is a fabulous find from Marshalls in Florida while on Spring Break. It was on the clearance rack for $6. The white t-shirt was a fabulous find @ wal-mart $3 deal in the craft section. I took a wide cream gros-grain ribbon to make a ruffle around the bottom and I did a zig-zag part way down the front. The shoes are Candies from Kohls, thrifted for $4 from Trinity Thrift Store. I love the big wedge! It elongates the leg and keeps my pants off of the ground:) The Trouser jean is from JC Penney $12. Trouser jeans are a must have! Very slimming and can be dressed up for a special occasion, you know like doing dishes or cleaning the toilets. The butterfly gold watch was a fabulous find at American Eagle $3 clearance and the stack of gold bangles with flower embellishments $3 clearance @ wal-mart. So the complete outfit is around $30 including everything! Shoes, jewelry, fabulous trouser jeans. You can dress trendy and cute at any price point!! In my opinion it's not about the brands! It's about the fit and the look and how you feel wearing it:) Come back tomorrow to meet one of my good friends and I'll share her outfit deals.
Love, Candy ps. I promise to improve my poses and photography skills for my next posts. Leave me a comment with one of your recent fabulous finds:)

  1. Well, I haven't been able to go out and do much shopping for clothes lately, but this summer I found this super cute pale coral chunky bead ribbon necklace from BodyWorks (I think that is what it is called) for $3. I found lots of great decorating deals last summer at the Goodwill for my room. I'm excited to follow this blog and get some good ideas! I'm always one for great fashion at a bargain deal!

  3. I find decent deals on my own clothes, but the only real "steals" I'm proud of are on kids clothes. I get most of the kids' wardrobes on the Target clearance racks: I buy end-of-season things at the size I anticipate they'll wear next year. One of my favorites was a rockin' awesome faux-leather jacket for Lily for $6.00.

  5. I think maybe I need a shopping intervention or something! I think I need to look around more, I always find great deals for my kids, but not for me!
I need to do some makeovers on my boring T-shirts too! You always look cute!

  6. I had to think of the last good deal I found. You and Kate actually told me about it! It was the day before Conner was born and My sister was in town and you guys informed us of the extra 50% off clearance items at Old Navy. I got a cute white top for, I think, $3 and a cute green skirt, (just like Kates!) for, I think $6. That's the last time I went shopping and got something for myself.
I'm excited to follow your blog and get some cute ideas and see some good deals!
