Happy Monday

I got a new hair cut:) What do ya think? I had this cut back on 09 and thought I'd bring it back for a second time around. I really like it. Faster to blow dry and style and I like the shape it gives my hair.

Pretty good for a $12 cut;) I LOVE Jessica at our Great Clips! That girl deserves a raise!
She's been there for a long time and does such a great job! She is good friends with my sis-in-law Kelly. That's how I found out about Jessica and her mad hair skills!

This is what I wore to church yesterday. It's a peach lace dress, black tee for modesty, black blazer, black leggings, black pointy toe boots and some fun black and gray jewelry.

The dress was about $17 from Kohls, blazer $30 on a huge mark down at JC Penneys, black leggings purchased way back when, my go to pointy boots years ago $30 from Cato, Necklace Kohls, bracelet $5 wal-mart, Ring Daisy Fuentes Kohls.

It was really windy, but pretty warm yesterday. We had a SUPER busy week-end. Friday the girls and I did TONS of Christmas shopping!! We met Kirk for lunch at our favorite place to eat..Texas Road House, and that night we had a few friends over and had a girl's night watching Judy Moody.

Saturday the two older girls had tech day for their play from 10-4. Macie and I stayed home and got things done. Kirk hunted. It was opening day of shot gun season for deer hunting. By 7:30am he had already gotten a doe and a buck! Answered prayers:) We wanted to fill our food storage.

Sunday, we had church, Kirk was gone for work, I squeezed in a quick nap, and before we knew it...it was time to go to the special youth musical fireside. It was a fun/spiritual/exhausting weekend. Soon to be followed by another really busy weekend:)

Hope you all have a fabulous week!
Stay Fashionable!
Love, Candy

We missed you guys at the Leamings on Saturday but it sounds like you guys had a full weekend. It's that time of year of full busy weekends.

  2. That is a super, super, super cute outfit Candy! I'm dying to try out an outfit like that but get worried it's to trendy for the almost 40 mama. I might just have to do it though! I keep looking at those cute dresses at Kohls. I want one!
